ntelliText SprachenService is participating in the bidding process for a four-year framework agreement to translate financial and business texts from English into French.
The work will be performed remotely using Trados; the anticipated start date is August 2027.
As part of this process, we are looking for translators to add to our roster, and I would be very pleased to have you participate in this effort.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS APPLY FOR PARTICIPATION:
- Native French speaker (C2) and English at the C2 level
- At least 6 years of professional experience translating from English to French, including at least 4 years in the fields of economics, finance, banking, or banking supervision
- At least 4,000 EN>FR pages in these subject areas (1 page = 1,500 characters without spaces)
- Proof of the above criteria through third-party documents (diplomas, references, contracts, work orders, invoices) OR the ability to obtain them within 2 weeks.
- Availability to take the ECB translation test on Monday, November 2, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. CET. You would take the test on your own, without using machine translation (MT) or AI.
In addition, the contracting authority mentions the following points:
- Each translator must provide a Europass CV in English
- A security check, in the form of a certificate of good conduct and other documents to be completed, may be required.
- Training may take place on-site at the client’s location (in southern Hesse), which could last several days. However, there is no further information available on this yet, nor is it guaranteed to be necessary.
Budget/Word Rate: €0.07 per word
