English > Tagalog: Political, 100K+ Words, Trados, US BASED ONLY
CTS Languagelink is in need of translators to work on a government project for an existing client. This project is highly political in nature and requires experience. Delivery of initial files January 2016. Files will continue to arrive in batches throughout 2016! We are expecting the largest batches in March/April and August/September 2016. The languages we are looking for are: Tagalog.
Translators MUST be US Based AND…..
• Attended a WASC accredited school *please see website for WASC list: httpXXXXXXXXor.org/institutions. (You will be asked to provide your transcripts or degree from the school.)
• OR US Department of Education accredited postsecondary institutions. (We have the Excel file list and can look to see if the college you attended is on the list. You will be asked to provide your transcripts or degree from the school.)
• OR be CA Court Certified for interpretation
• OR be an ATA Voting Member
• Government/Political translation experience REQUIRED! Please ensure this is detailed on your resume/CV.
• Proficient user of Trados Studio 2014 or compatible version
In order for translators to work on this project you must pass a 350 word test.
If you are interested in testing to be a part of this project, we would need you to answer the following questions as well as attaching your CV or Resume detailing your government/political translation experience!
1. Use of Trados is REQUIRED, what version of Trados do you use?
2. What is your daily translation output ability?
3. Under which of the criteria do you meet? Please check and attach copies for verification purposes.
o WASC or US Dept of Education accredited school attendee
o CA Court Certified Interpreter
o ATA Voting Member
