Hi there!
We are a media localization company and we are currently looking for a Danish-English translator for a movie.
DANISH - ENGLISH TRANSLATOR
Job Responsibilities:
- Translate video content from Danish - English Language and vice versa
- Proofread subtitles that had been translated from Danish - English Language.
- Correct typography, grammatical errors, and any mistranslated words to ensure the quality of our final products according to our translation/editing guideline and of our clients.
Job Qualification:
-Native or Native-like level of proficiency in Danish - English with a good command of both colloquial and written Danish - English.
-Previous experience in translation or proofreading is preferred.
-Attention to detail and accuracy
-Positive, can-do spirit, proactive, result-driven, and resourceful
-Willing to learn new things and enjoying new challenges
-Able to work in a fast-paced environment and within limited time constraints

1. Please provide your rate of translation per movie program minute, not per word
2. Do you have any experiences in video translator or movie subtitling? Our upcoming project is for video translation and you will do your translation using our own website. If so, would you be willing to learn how to work?
3. If necessary, we’d like to send you a sample test. Short sample translating will be free of charge. Would it be okay with you?
