Dear all,
Hereby we would like to enquire about your availability and interest in one very interesting project of ours.
The project has already started and will be ongoing for 2-3 weeks. We would prefer our experts to be available at least 25h/week. If you are able to offer more – we will be more than happy to accommodate.
The project related tasks will be focusing on transcribing names (first, last, nicknames, and/or any major foreign names in the country) with IPA or X-SAMPA with a strong preference in X-SAMPA.
We are interested in collecting all possible variants of pronunciation of each name specific to your locale (taking into consideration all possible dialects). The names will be already pre-collected and sent to you for transcription.
If you are interested in this project and available for it, kindly send us your responses to the questions below:
1. Confirmation of your locale and the dialects you are familiar with
2. Details on experience in using IPA or X-SAMPA with a strong preference in X-SAMPA (both industrial and in academia)
3. Weekly availability for the duration of the project
