My name is Ms. Sukhada Gadre and I am a recruiter at Global Services for Machine Intelligence.
I found your contact information from Traduguide.com and I am writing to you hoping that you would be interested in working with us or help us find suitable candidates for our Icelandic Language Research Project which is studying the speech particularities of children up to 15 years old.
The aim of this project is to help improving and further developing modern speech recognition systems for computers and mobile devices. The tasks can be done from home and do not require any specific knowledge or previous experience, please see below the details:
Requirements: Any android device or any computer with Google Chrome, Internet connection and a quiet place for the recording. The child’s mother tongue should be Icelandic.
Duration of the task: Approximately 30 minutes.
Task description: The children will see 160 short sentences or part of sentences in Icelandic on the screen and will need to record their voice while reading them aloud. Note that the content is adjusted to respect ages 3 to 15 years, however, in case a sentence is considered inappropriate, it can be skipped.
Compensation: 35 USD for the entire task (160 sentences).. The payment will be done by PayPal.
Estimated start date of this project: Immediate
How to apply: A parent or legal guardian needs to apply the children.
