We invite you to take part in a currently on-going Language Research project.

We are an American company with headquarters in Massachusetts (USA) and offices in 26 countries. We deliver translation and localization, global content management, and application testing services to the world’s top brands.

Currently we are looking for Malagasy native speakers to participate in our paid Language Research Project.

We are helping to develop modern speech recognition systems for computers and mobile devices and is now starting a Malagasy Language Research Project, which consists of collecting voice samples in Malagasy. The task is simple and does not require any specific knowledge or previous experience. The participants can be located anywhere in the world as the tasks can be done easily from home. You are required to have either an Android phone, or Android tablet. Alternatively, you may also use any computer with Chrome browser. Internet connection and a quiet space to make your recordings are also needed. Kindly note that you cannot complete this task using an iOS device.

Here are all the project details to get you started:
The participant needs to be 18+ year old

Duration of this task: Up to 2 hours

Compensation offered: 40 USD (once the task is completed):
The payment will be done by PayPal or Direct Bank Transfer or Skrill (PayPal is not supported in Madagascar).

Task description: Participants will see images and will need to record their voice while they see them depending upon the text suggestion that is shown above every image (e.g. Describe the image, Catchphrase, Talk to the image).

Estimated start date of this project: Immediate
